American Heritage-Delray (Fla.) junior quarterback Marcus Stracke continued his excellent start to the 2026 season, adding another four touchdowns in Friday’s 56-12 rout of Somerset Academy-Silver Palms.
Stracke finished 17-of-22 for 275 yards and three touchdowns for the Stallions, who moved to 3-0 on the young season. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound dual-threat quarterback also ran for 24 yards and a touchdown on two carries.
Jonathan King’s Stallions squad has already outscored opponents 149-31. After putting up 44 points in an Aug. 14 victory over Calvary Christian Academy, Stracke and teammates have subsequently scored 49 and 56 points.
Stracke has thrown for 804 yards, seven touchdowns, and an interception. He’s already received offers from Samford and FIU, the latter of which gave him his first FBS scholarship earlier this year.
“You have a good year, produce, and then hopefully schools pull the trigger,” Stracke recently told Legacy Library.
Stracke and the Stallions look to continue their perfect start when they host Boynton Beach (0-3) next Friday night. American Heritage seeks its second consecutive Sunshine State Athletic Association (SSAA) State Championship.
