Baldwin-Woodsville (Wis.) two-way standout Aidan Foster wasted no time getting his senior season started in excellent fashion, dominating on both sides of the ball in Friday’s 48-19 blowout win over Tomah.
Foster had three catches for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Not to be outdone, he recorded multiple tackles for loss and forced a fumble, quickly proving why his recruiting stock skyrocketed this summer.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Foster received three offers this summer, the most recent being Division III Wisconsin–River Falls. Wisconsin-Eau Claire offered him in late June, and Brevard (N.C.) followed at the end of July.
“I’m gonna work hard to get what I want to achieve, and I’ve worked hard to get where I am today,” Foster told Legacy Library earlier this month. “And that I’m gonna work hard to achieve my goals and help our team achieve ours.”
So far, so good. Next up for Foster and the Blackhawks is a home showdown against Pewaukee (1-0) next Friday night.
Baldwin-Woodsville is chasing its second state championship game appearance in three seasons. Having Foster creating chaos as both a receiver and defender will certainly go a long way in bringing home the program’s first state title since 1992.
