Another month, another scholarship offer for Baldwin-Woodsville (Wis.) two-way standout Aidan Foster, who announced an offer from Division III Wisconsin–River Falls on Monday.
Wisconsin–River Falls is fresh off its first Division III title after defeating North Central (Ill.) in last year’s Stagg Bowl. The Falcons hadn’t reached the postseason since 1996.
Foster received his first offer from Division III Wisconsin–Eau Claire in late June, and Brevard (N.C.) offered him last week.
“It’s motivating and really exciting,” Foster told Legacy Library. He spent time at Wisconsin-River Falls this past weekend.
Foster’s latest offer comes amid one of the most successful stretches in Wisconsin-River Falls history. Matt Walker turned the Falcons into a rising D-III contender, rattling off five consecutive seasons before leaving for Drake.
After losing the 2020 season to COVID, Wisconsin-River Falls is 44-13 since the start of 2021.
Baldwin-Woodsville opens the season on Aug. 21 vs. Tomah. Foster and the Blackhawks are chasing their second state championship game appearance in three seasons.
The 2026 Early Signing Period is expected to begin Wednesday, Dec. 2, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Players who sign their letter of intent during that period can then enroll early.
