College Football: Louisiana Tech Safety Ty Jones Records Nine Tackles Against LSU

Louisiana Tech safety Ty Jones was active throughout the Bulldogs’ matchup with No. 8 LSU last Saturday night.

Jones finished with nine tackles, including six tackles for loss, in the Bulldogs’ 45-14 loss to the Tigers. He also broke up a pass for a La. Tech squad that fell to 1-1.

Louisiana Tech opened the season with an 80-6 victory over Northwestern State on Sept. 5, though Jones did not record any stats.

The Bulldogs look to get back on track Saturday when they travel to face Baylor (1-1) in Waco.
