Hampton senior quarterback Tre’Von Taylor saw extended action last Saturday as the Pirates opened CAA play against Bryant.
Taylor came off the bench and completed 12 of 24 passes for 134 yards while adding 36 rushing yards in the Pirates’ 31-3 loss to the Bulldogs. Hampton fell to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in conference play.

Through three games, the 6-foot, 185-pound Taylor has completed 17 of 35 passes for 175 yards. He has not thrown a touchdown and has one interception.
Hampton will look to get back on track when it travels to Norfolk State (1-2) for the Battle of the Bay.
