Fairview High School (Colo.) senior receiver Tommy Bauer opened his final high school season with an explosive performance last Friday night.

Bauer helped the Knights to a 45-6 win over Westminster, returning a kickoff 99 yards for a touchdown. He finished with 128 total yards and made plays on both sides of the ball.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Bauer holds Division I offers from North Dakota and South Dakota. He went 10-2 with Fairview last season as the Knights reached the Class 5A semifinals.

“Without showing it, you gotta be cocky,” Bauer told Legacy Library earlier this summer. “You gotta think that you’re the best player out there. And when you mess up a rep, you gotta know what you did wrong … but don’t let it bring you down. Instead, let it elevate you.”

The 2026 Early Signing Period is expected to begin Wednesday, Dec. 2, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Players who sign their letter of intent during that period can then enroll early.

Fairview will look to start the season 2-0 when the Knights play ThunderRidge (1-0) on Friday night.
