High School Football: Hagerty (Fla.) Linebacker Reli Gutierrez Dominates in Win Over Winter Springs

Hagerty High School (Fla.) linebacker Reli Gutierrez began his senior season with a victory and a phenomenal performance on both defense and special teams.

Gutierrez finished with 17 tackles in Monday’s 33-25 win over Winter Springs. He also had multiple blocks on special teams and pressured both the quarterback and kicker.

The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Gutierrez is a team captain and starting linebacker for Hagerty. He also contributes on special teams and had five tackles in the Huskies’ 48-6 Kickoff Classic win over Lyman.

Gutierrez has received college offers from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Cornell College (Iowa), and Maine Maritime.

The 2026 Early Signing Period is expected to begin Wednesday, Dec. 2, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Players who sign their letter of intent during that period can then enroll early.

Hagerty will host Lake Howell (1-1) on Friday night at 7 p.m.
