Boswell High School (Texas) defensive lineman Ola-Oluwa Orebe spent last Friday’s season opener reminding those in attendance why he’s headed to North Texas next fall.
Orebe recorded four tackles, including two for a loss, in the 59-7 rout of Saginaw. He was also involved in numerous plays behind the line of scrimmage and tormented the Rough Riders’ offensive line all night.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Orebe pledged to North Texas earlier this summer after having received offers from double-digit Division I schools. 247 Sports considers Orebe a three-star prospect and the country’s No. 155 defensive lineman.
“I’m God-fearing, and I never give up, no matter what the situation is,” Orebe told Legacy Library earlier this summer. “I love God, I love my family, and I love football.”
The 2026 Early Signing Period is expected to begin Wednesday, Dec. 2, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Players who sign their letter of intent during that period can then enroll early.
Orebe and Boswell return to action Friday night against Paschal (0-1) at home.
