Bishop Moore senior kicker Nico Salas helped the Hornets take control of their district opener last Friday against Seabreeze.
Salas went 5-for-5 on extra points and recorded four touchbacks in the Hornets’ 35-7 victory over the Sandcrabs. Bishop Moore improved to 2-2 overall and has outscored opponents 76-20 over the last two weeks.

Through four games, Salas is 12-for-14 on PATs and 4-for-6 on field-goal attempts, with a long of 37 yards. He has also recorded 10 touchbacks on 17 kickoffs and averaged 42.6 yards on seven punts, with four landing inside the 20-yard line.
Although Air Force is currently his only offer, Salas previously told Legacy Library that he remains in close contact with other schools.
The Hornets will host South Lake (2-2) on Friday night.
