Woodruff High School (S.C.) wide receiver/tight end MiCah McClintock hasn’t wasted any time carving through opposing defenses.
McClintock recorded three catches for 38 yards and a touchdown in Friday’s 32-15 home win over Fountain Inn. He’s already posted 11 catches, 221 yards, and three touchdowns for the 2-0 Wolverines.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound McClintock is tied with receiver Curtis Bell for the team lead in touchdowns.
Although McClintock was previously committed to Florida Atlantic, he recently reopened his recruitment. McClintock has nearly 20 offers from Division I programs, including ACC rivals North Carolina and Louisville. He visited Bill Belichick and the Tar Heels in June.
The 2026 Early Signing Period is expected to begin Wednesday, Dec. 2, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Players who sign their letter of intent during that period can then enroll early.
“I’m an absolute dog every time I get on the field,” McClintock told Legacy Library earlier this summer. “And I know I’m always the best football player to step on [the field].”
McClintock and the Wolverines can continue their perfect start with a victory over Emerald High School (2-0) next Friday night.
