Cajon High School (Calif.) sophomore quarterback Marcus Washington Jr. has earned a spot at one of high school football’s premier showcases.
Washington announced Thursday that he received an invite to the Under Armour Next 2028 All-America Game. The dual-threat quarterback has attracted offers from Michigan, Texas A&M and other Power 4 programs.
Under Armour had not announced the event’s date as of publication. The previous edition was held Jan. 3 in DeLand, Fla.

Washington enters Friday’s matchup against Oak Hills (2-2) with 908 passing yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also rushed for 432 yards and a team-leading five touchdowns, averaging 7.3 yards per carry.
Cajon (2-2) has scored at least 28 points in each of its four games. The Cowboys will look to move above .500 before their bye week with a road win Friday. They return to action Oct. 2 against Citrus Valley (3-1).
