Cajon High School (Calif.) quarterback Marcus Washington Jr. kept busy with his legs on Friday night, rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries in a 28-21 win over Aquinas.
Washington also completed 7 of 16 passes for 81 yards as Cajon rebounded from last week’s crushing loss to Murrieta Valley. He remains one of California’s top dual-threat quarterbacks, totaling 432 rushing yards and 908 passing yards.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Washington’s recruitment continues to move quickly. The sophomore has earned Power 4 offers from the likes of Michigan, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt in recent months.
Washington Cajon will travel to Oak Hills (2-2) on Friday. The Bulldogs are coming off a loss to JSerra Catholic (3-1).
