Rye Country Day Setter Rebecca Katz Prepares for Massive Summer

With school officially out, Rye Country Day (Rye, N.Y.) setter Rebecca Katz is turning her attention to what will be a crucial summer.

Katz, who turns 14 in July, has kept busy throughout the year, both for the Wildcats and the GVC 14-Black Greenwich Volleyball Club.

Earlier this month, Katz and GVC participated in the Nike North Atlantic Championships in Hartford, Conn.

GVC began its 2026 tournament slate at Winterfest in Hartford in late January. Katz and teammates have also competed in New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, and Atlanta this year.
