Jordan Clark and the Florida Atlantic softball team continued a busy June by signing three players, including Florida International infielder Paige Miller, through the transfer portal.
Miller, who began her career at Wisconsin, hit .331 with 35 RBIs and a stellar .395 on-base percentage during her two Panthers seasons. She also stole 31 bases and struck out only 27 times in 98 games.
A 2025 All-Conference USA second-team selection, Miller is entering her senior season.
FAU also announced the signings of Southern Illinois pitcher Brooklynn Danielson and Austin Peay utility player Katie Raper.
Danielson dominated as a true freshman, earning Mountain Valley Conference Freshman of the Year after going 11-2 with a 2.75 ERA in 27 games. She pitched four complete games, including two shutouts, and also recorded two saves.
Southern Illinois used Danielson as both a starter and a reliever. FAU only listed her as a right-handed pitcher on an official graphic.
Raper initially played at North Carolina State before transferring to Austin Peay. She hit .289 with 29 home runs, 65 RBIs, and a sensational 1.058 OPS over two seasons with the Governors.
After almost exclusively playing right field in 2025, Raper took on a utility role last year. Although FAU listed her as a utility player, it remains unclear whether they will prioritize her playing a single position during offseason workouts.
Clark and the Owls previously announced the arrivals of Santa Fe pitcher Belle Mancillas, Texas A&M infielder Piper White, and North Carolina pitcher Lilly Parrish.
FAU finished 34-20 (14-13 in AAC play) in Clark’s fourth season, all of which have ended with winning records both overall and in conference. However, the Owls lost to South Florida during the AAC conference tournament and missed the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2023.
