Dashawn Harley and Iona Prep (N.Y.) have begun the new year by proving just why they’re currently considered the Empire State’s No. 1 team.

Fresh off their third state title in a five-year span, the Gaels enter Saturday’s showdown with St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (2-1) having outscored opponents 101-38 through two games. Harley and his teammates routed Paramus Catholic 63-20 in the Gaels’ home opener last weekend.
