North Oldham (Ky.) senior kicker Chris Waldron helped the Mustangs control the field-position battle Friday night in a 34-21 victory over Oldham County.

Waldron recorded four touchbacks on kickoffs and converted all four of his extra-point attempts. North Oldham improved to 2-1 with the win.

Waldron has already attracted college attention after earning his first scholarship offer from Culver-Stockton. He also won the field-goal competition at a University of Louisville specialist camp this summer with a 54-yard kick.

“I really like to put myself in situations where I have a chance to succeed, even if it means taking a risk,” Waldron told Legacy Library earlier this summer.

The 2026 Early Signing Period is expected to begin Wednesday, Dec. 2, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Players who sign their letter of intent during that period can then enroll early.

North Oldham will travel to South Oldham (1-2) on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
