Orchard Farm (Mo.) senior Brendan Hudzik showed once again why he’s become one of the Eagles’ most reliable two-way players.
Hudzik recorded seven tackles and broke up three passes in Friday’s 22-14 season-opening victory over Fort Zumwalt South. He also snagged four catches for 27 yards.
“Got a lot more coming this season!” Hudzik told Legacy Library.
The 6-foot, 175-pound Hudzik has been instrumental in Orchard Farm’s recent success, and the Eagles are now 29-7 since the start of 2023. He earned a scholarship offer from William Woods University, an NAIA school in Missouri, earlier this summer.
Hudzik previously earned an offer from Division III Trine University (Ind.) last year. The 2026 Early Signing Period is expected to begin Wednesday, Dec. 2, and run through Friday, Dec. 4. Players who sign their letter of intent during that period can then enroll early.
Orchard Farm will get its chance at a 2-0 start against Pacific this coming Friday in the Eagles’ home opener.
