Chanhassen (Minn.) guard Lucy Hilgert has picked up another college offer, this time from the University of St. Thomas, a Division I program in Minnesota.

The Tommies join a recruiting list that already includes North Dakota State, Omaha, Montana State, and Utah State for Hilgert, who is entering her sophomore season.

Hilgert averaged 15.1 points, five rebounds, two assists, and 2.1 steals in 29 games as a freshman. She helped the Storm finish 18-10 and reach the state tournament for the first time in program history.

The 5-foot-9 guard also plays for Minnesota Fury and was named Prep Girls Hoops Minnesota’s 2029 Breakout Player of the Year following her summer performance.

St. Thomas is entering its first season under Mandy Pearson, who replaced the recently retired Ruth Sinn. Pearson led Minnesota Duluth to six NCAA Division II Tournament berths, including a championship game appearance in 2023.
