When asked what he wants the world to know about him as a football player, Santa Monica College (Calif.) offensive tackle Noah Devlin prefers to keep it honest.
“Nobody can mess with me,” Devlin told Legacy Library. “And if somebody disagrees, they could come line up.”
We wish Devlin’s doubters luck, especially with the 6-foot-6 tackle now weighing in at over 300 pounds. He’s a brawler in the trenches and recently earned a scholarship offer from Boise State, which remains one of the country’s top mid-major programs and has been bowl eligible for 28 consecutive seasons.
Boise State has had nine offensive linemen drafted since 2002, including 2008 No. 12 pick Ryan Clady. The Denver Broncos took two-time All-Mountain West tackle Kage Casey this past April.
“Just being offered by a school, especially a FBS school like Boise State, is definitely such a blessing for me,” Devlin told Legacy Library. “It’s a really cool opportunity.”
Santa Monica opens its 2026 season on Saturday against LA Southwest. The Corsairs went 8-3 last year and won their first conference championship since 2015, though they lost to Victor Valley in the American Division Championship Bowl Game.
With Boise State already in his corner, Devlin has plenty of room to build his recruiting stock. If he plays up to his potential, more Division I offers could be on the way.
“There’s not many people who can move the way that I do,” Devlin said. “I can see what players are gonna do, and what they’re not gonna do, and it helps me.”
