Assumption High School (La.) two-sport athlete Braylen Simon has evened the count, drawing his second basketball scholarship and fourth total offer.
Ecclesia College, a private school in Arkansas, offered Simon on Monday. The Royals compete in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
William Penn offered Simon, a rising senior point guard, his first basketball scholarship on Aug. 12.
The 6-foot, 165-pound Simon has also received football offers from NJCAA Division III Minnesota North College–Vermilion, as well as the Salt Lake Yeti.
Simon broke up two passes and recorded an interception during last Thursday’s scrimmage against Central Lafourche High School.
Assumption opens its 2026 season against Donaldsonville on Sept. 4. The Mustangs seek their first winning season since 2023.
