The days of crossing your fingers hoping that your team even gets a one-sentence mention on TV or in the newspaper are over.
WHAT IS LEGACY LIBRARY?
Legacy Library is an independent publication designed to highlight the players, coaches, and teams whose stories are slipping through the cracks.
Local outlets have given up on meaningful coverage of high school and college athletics. They stopped caring about our communities a long time ago.
Yet, newspapers charge you just to read one story about your team. Why pay for a monthly or yearly subscription if there’s a chance it’ll be a full year before your son or daughter even gets a mention?
Legacy Library doesn’t operate that way.
HOW LEGACY LIBRARY WORKS
When you subscribe to Legacy Library, you are guaranteeing nonstop coverage of both your athlete and the team in question.
That’s not an empty promise, either. After registering your athlete through our portal and subscribing to our “VARSITY” tier, you will receive updates every week during the season. We’ll provide stats, quotes, and more.
What makes this different, though, is that you and your athlete get a personalized update. It’s not a simple weekly roundup of scores and how many touchdowns or points someone had.
Legacy Library will work with schools and coaches to receive all official statistics. There will also be an area for coaches, players, and family members to submit photos and videos.
FAQ
HOW DO I GET MY ATHLETE INTO THE LIBRARY?
Once you subscribe to the “VARSITY” tier, you’ll be directed to our Athlete Portal. This is where you’ll provide the basic info we need—position, jersey number, and your best contact info. From there, we take the lead on coordinating with the coaches to get the coverage rolling.
HOW IS MY ATHLETE’S INFORMATION HANDLED?
We follow all school and district protocols regarding student privacy. We only use information that is publicly available through team rosters or provided directly by the parents/guardians and coaching staff. Our goal is to highlight their achievements, not compromise their privacy.
DOES MY ATHLETE HAVE TO BE A RANKED RECRUIT TO BE COVERED?
Absolutely not. Legacy Library is built for every player on the roster. Whether they are a four-year starter or a senior leader who makes their impact felt in the locker room, they have a story worth telling.
If they’re putting in the work, we’re there to document it.
HOW DOES COVERAGE CHANGE WHEN MY ATHLETE GRADUATES?
If your athlete continues their career in college, we will continue covering them! Legacy Library does not cease coverage when your athlete graduates.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ATHLETE IS INJURED?
If an injury occurs, we’ll meet with the athlete, coaches, and parents to determine the next steps.
An injury does not mean we stop the coverage.
However, we have a strict rule: We will not share injury news or medical updates without approval from everyone involved. We aren’t here to break “scoops” at the expense of a kid’s privacy.
If you decide you’d rather stop the subscription because of an injury, just let us know. You won’t be charged again following the next billing period.
I HAVE MULTIPLE CHILDREN WHO ARE STUDENT-ATHLETES. DOES THAT IMPACT MY PAYMENT PLAN?
Nope! Your “VARSITY” subscription covers all student-athletes in your household. We believe in documenting the entire family’s journey.

TESTIMONIALS
Jake has been a true stand-up guy with so much passion for loving the game of football and the wellness of us as players since I met him at FAU in 2016! — Gerald Hearns, former Dwyer and Florida Atlantic running back.
I’ve known Jake since he was a student and it was immediately evident that he had a real passion for writing about football and people. He is honest and fair. He loves to serve athletes and the community. — Roc Bellantoni, longtime college defensive coach who has mentored at least 30 players who reached the pro level.
